The Asian Pacific Islander Business Program
presents The 6th Annual Asian Small Business Expo (Auguest
2005)
Thursday, October 6th: 9AM - 4PM
Sempra Energy Resource Center
9240 Firestone Boulevard, Downey, CA 90421
The Expo is designed for small business
owners and entrepreneurs eager to grow their businesses,
start a business or explore business services available
to them. Over 500 expected attendees will network with exhibitors
and sponsors from the banking industry, government agencies,
and business service providers.
This is the only business-to-business conference
of its kind; it is specifically designed to encourage small
business growth within the API community. Individuals have
unparalleled access to financial services, business products,
marketing, franchise opportunities, health care, contracting
opportunities and government regulations affecting small
businesses.
The Expo is ideal for networking. Five hundred
attendees from the Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Filipino
communities come through the Expo hall during the course
of the day. These individuals will meet one on one with
franchisors, discuss business and financing opportunities
for start ups while networking with peers and experts in
specific industries.
In addition to the activities in the main
conference hall, free workshops are held throughout the
day to cover specialized topics. Access to Capital, Franchising
and Doing Business with China are among the multiple workshops
offered in various Asian languages. Business Counselors
are also available to provide free advice and counseling.
This event is FREE. A light lunch and drinks
are provided. Registration is free. For more information,
